The QrCode application does not collect, store, or share any personal user data, except for necessary device identifiers required for Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications).
- No personal information such as name, email, or phone number is required.
- No location or sensitive personal information is collected.
- QR code creation is performed on a secure server and is automatically deleted within 1 hour after generation.
- The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications, which requires a unique device token to send notifications.
- Users must explicitly grant permission for notifications. If the user does not allow notifications, no data is collected for this purpose.
- These settings and permissions apply only to users who install and use the application.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This application does not use cookies or any tracking technologies.
- There is no tracking system monitoring user behavior.
- WebView-based services may use cookies, but this application does not store or manage them.
3. Ads and Third-Party Services
The application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. As part of this, AdMob may collect data in compliance with Google's privacy policies.
- Google AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to personalize ads.
- Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) are shown a consent form to choose personalized or non-personalized ads under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- If users do not consent, only non-personalized ads will be displayed.
The application also uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. Google may collect non-personal data (such as device identifiers) to deliver these notifications.
4. GDPR Compliance and User Consent
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the application respects user privacy and allows users to manage their consent for personalized advertising.
- Upon installation, users in the European Economic Area (EEA) will be shown a consent form to manage their data preferences.
- Users' ad consent preferences are managed automatically by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) based on their initial choice. If users wish to change their preferences, they may need to reinstall the application or adjust their device's ad settings.
- If consent is not given, only non-personalized ads will be displayed.
5. Security and Data Sharing
This application does not send, sell, or share any personal or non-personal data with third parties.
QR codes generated via the application are temporarily stored on a secure server and automatically deleted within 1 hour.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) is used only to send push notifications, and it requires a device token. This token is securely transmitted and is not linked to personal information.
All data is transmitted securely, and no personally identifiable information (PII) is stored or shared.
These security measures and data-sharing policies apply only to users who install and use the application.
6. Permissions Used
The application requests the following permission:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required for delivering push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). The user must explicitly grant this permission. If the user declines, notifications will not be received.
The application does not access the storage, camera, microphone, contacts, or any other personal data.
These permissions are only requested for users who install and use the application.
